What stops you having  a more balanced life?

Is it fear? Or is it lack of clarity about what a more balanced life would be for you? Have you heard the exression ‘get out of the box’? You have to ‘get out of the box’ to make the changes you want. But here is the conundrum: the instructions of how to do that are written on the outside of the box! In other words if you take a leap of faith, however small that may be you will gain clarity about how to proceed further.  Take that step: you could imagine you are someone else looking through a window at you and your day. What would you notice you were doing which could be different? The basic principle of change is to change something, because when you do other things will change too. This used to called ‘Systems theory’ maybe it still is. I always like the analogy of the spreadsheet: when you change one thing everything else changes. What one thing will you change today?
